Colorado Hailstorm

Typical Colorado Hailstorm. August 8, 2013. We usually get hailstorms in July/August, occasionally in June as well. It's been unusually rainy this summer, with afternoon showers practically every day. This is the second hailstorm in the past couple of weeks, which isn't that common. Hail can be much bigger than this, which can damage roofs and cars, but fortunately it has been pea-sized this year. No, they don't tell you about this in the travel books after they mention the 300 days of sunshine per year, do they!
